Tilly's Golf Tournament Raises $200K For Tilly's Life Center
One participant at the Mission Viejo event— dubbed the 'Tilly Wonka and the Golf Factory' —hit a hole in one

MISSION VIEJO, CA — Tilly's Life Center celebrated their 14th Annual Charity Golf Tournament ‘Tilly Wonka and the Golf Factory,’ This spectacular golf experience, held at the Mission Viejo Country Club, was fun-filled and wildly successful. Despite the covid-safety protocols in place, the scramble format golf tournament retained its excitement, featuring former NFL stars, influencers, and major brands in attendance.
All of the nearly $200,000 raised and donated at the tournament will go back to the Tilly's Life Center.
100 percent of the funds raised from the golf tournament will be used to expand Tilly’s Life Center’s (TLC) mission to inspire today’s youth to reach their full potential as productive, happy, resilient, and responsible individuals, a spokesperson said.

Influencer Megan Heaton got her first hole-in-one from 140 yards behind the tee on hole #13, according to an event spokesperson. Professional skateboarder Ryan Sheckler and his team taking home first place with an overall score of 61.

Guests loved the fun, uplifting and positive theme and enjoyed seeing Oompa Loompas giving out candy and trying their luck at a Golden Ticket from a Tilly Wonka chocolate bar.

The event featured brand activations from Ethika, Volcom, and Palm Golf Co., as well as complimentary food and drinks from local vendors such as Wahoo’s Fish Taco, Monster Energy, Hint Water, Yogurtland, Trust Me Vodka, Califino Tequila, Archie’s Ice Cream, Bratzermann, Dang Brother Pizza, Tap Truck OC, and more. The event received support from volunteers and event sponsors including: Sun Bum, Huf, Lakai, Primitive, Brixton, Goldman Sachs, Wells Fargo, Union Bank, Morgan Stanley, Marsh & McLennan and many others joining the tournament.
TLC gives young people the tools they need to overcome challenges like depression, suicide, anxiety, substance abuse, and school violence.
