U2 Tribute Band To Play in Mission Viejo

From the City of Mission Viejo:

One of the world's greatest tribute bands will perform in Mission Viejo on Saturday, May 7 during a special Open House and Concert on the Courts at the Marguerite Recreation Center.

Community members of all ages are invited to the event that runs from noon to 2:30 p.m. with the concert by the “U2Xperience” starting at 3 p.m.

U2X is known for delivering spectacular live recreations of concerts by legendary rock band U2. The band members, all longtime U2 fans, are committed to recreating the most authentic, memorable U2 experience.

Along with a fabulous concert, guests will enjoy a host of tasty fare served up by food trucks Gyrittos, StuffNIT Burgers and Kona Ice.

Gyrittos serves "fusion Mediterranean" food with Greek-spiced marinated chicken, fried scampi shrimp and lentil falafel. StuffNIT Burgers prides itself on being Southern California's first food truck to stuff burgers – with everything from pineapples and cheese to mushrooms and jalapenos. Kona Ice has more than 700 trucks across the country serving up shaved ice that’s delicious and nutritious.

The concert runs until 4:30 p.m. Beer and wine will be available for purchase from the City’s Marine Adoption Committee.
