Vacancies Remain On Three Mission Viejo Commissions
Do you have what it takes to help your city? Three commission openings will be decided upon in January, 2023.
MISSION VIEJO, CA — The City of Mission Viejo is seeking applications to fill vacancies for 2-year terms on its Planning and Transportation Commission, Community Services Commission and Investment Advisory Commission.
Appointed by the City Council, the Commissions – except for 7-member Community Services Commission – are comprised of five members. The City Council will make its appointments at the January 10, 2023 City Council meeting.
Mission Viejo residents interested in applying for a seat on a Commission should file a brief application form with the City Clerk's Office by 5 pm on Friday, December 23.

Applicants must be at least 18 and live in Mission Viejo.
Applicants for the Investment Advisory Commission should also have the following qualifications: (1) banker, vice-president level or above; (2) investment banker, vice-president level or above; (3) financial planner; (4) corporate chief financial officer or treasurer; (5) registered investment adviser; or other applicable qualifications.
