Age Well Senior Services is a nonprofit organization that provides daily lunch; Meals on Wheels for homebound seniors; care management; and additional services at the Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center. The organization is seeking a variety of consistent long-term volunteers to assist with its programs and services between the hours of 9 am and 1:30 pm Monday through Friday.

Bread Rack – Monitor the bread rack that includes donations from different vendors and pick up donations from vendors in the area.
Phone Reception and Check-In – Answer phones and take messages, check-in guests for lunch service, and light paperwork.
Lunch – Tasks include cleaning and setting up the kitchen for the day, lunch services and clean up.
Bingo on Wednesdays – Tasks include set up, check-in, Bingo announcer, and tech.
Special Events – Once a month, we host a large lunch serving about 100 guests that requires additional help. Tasks include setting up the table and food, serving, and cleaning up.
Meals On Wheels Drivers – Volunteers drive their own cars to deliver food in Mission Viejo and parts of Lake Forest. No route is more than 16 miles roundtrip. Age Well will reimburse drivers for gas at a rate of $.30 per mile. All volunteers are required to wear a mask and gloves while delivering food and to provide copies of their current driver’s license, car insurance and registration. Substitute drivers are currently sought to fill in for our regular drivers from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm Monday through Friday. As routes become available, substitute drives will be offered open routes for weekly delivery.
