What's Hurting Our Kids
Want to better understand and help your kids, teens or students? Don't miss this important forum on Wednesday, March 7th in Mission Viejo.
Join expert speakers, parents, educators and others for an evening forum that will provide insights and explore solutions to help kids and teens in our community live emotionally healthy lives. Expert speakers will explore the immense stressors kids and teens feel today and provide resources and answers to the topics of social media; social, academic and athletic pressure; identity formation and suicide prevention. Everyone is welcome to attend this free event to better understand the pressures kids and teens deal with, how best to support them, warning signs to be aware of and solutions to help prevent destructive behaviors.
A panel discussion and Q&A will end the evening with additional insights. Expert speakers include Karin Draper, LMFT; Dr. Suzy McNulty, MD; Dr. Katherine Williamson, MD; Dr. Casey Cooper, Ph.D. and others.
