Wild Fork Foods is expected to open its first California brick-and-mortar market in Mission Viejo before the end of the year.

The specialty food market will move into the old Walgreens tenant space in the Trabuco Hills Shopping Center at 27785 Santa Margarita Parkway, Suite 100.

Wild Fork Foods offers quality beef, pork, chicken, lamb and seafood as well as specialty meats like bison, goat, goose, quail and duck year-round. The store has applied for a conditional use permit from the City to sell alcohol.

The roughly 10,000-square-foot building will be reconfigured to accommodate two or three retail or commercial service tenants. The building will also receive a comprehensive façade renovation to update the architecture along with upgrades to the parking lot and landscape areas.

Wild Fork Foods markets its products via e-commerce, and the purchases can be shipped directly to the consumer or picked up for free at their stores.
