What can you buy for $40 million? How about just about anything you can set your mind to. On Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2017 the Powerball jackpot rewound to $40 million as lottery hopefuls went about buying their tickets.
After the big prize was taken, we went back to the drawing board but there are still many ways to win the multi-state Powerball game.
There were no tickets sold with all six numbers intonight's drawing of the multi-state Powerball lottery and the estimatedjackpot for Saturday's drawing is expected to grow to $53 million. A ticket with five numbers, but missing the Powerball number, was soldin Indiana and is worth $1 million, the Multi-State Lottery Association, whichconducts the game, announced.

The numbers drawn Wednesday were 39, 48, 53, 67, 68 and the Powerballnumber was 26. The estimated jackpot was $40 million.
