Woman Accused Of Shoplifting From South OC Target, Stealing Purses
The woman was also accused of stealing the truck that she had used to drive to the local grocery store, authorities said.

MISSION VIEJO, CA — A woman was arrested Monday after attempting to shoplift from a Mission Viejo Target, the Orange County Sheriff's Department reported.
The incident was reported at 11 a.m. Monday, when Target's Loss Prevention called the OCSD's dispatch after detaining someone for shoplifting.
When deputies arrived, they questioned the woman. When asked if they could look in her truck for additional stolen items, the woman refused.

Deputies soon found out that the truck the woman drove in was also stolen. Inside of the truck, deputies found several driver's licenses and credit cards that belonged to other people.
She was arrested for shoplifting, possession of a stolen vehicle and identity theft. Deputies did not release her name.

According to a news release, deputies contacted the names listed on the stolen cards and learned that the cards had been stolen from local gyms.
Deputies also learned that the woman had four active warrants for her arrest for possession of narcotics, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of stolen property, possession of burglary tools and auto theft.
