Woman Killed In South OC Apartment Fire: OCFA

MISSION VIEJO, CA — A fire in a Mission Viejo apartment complex killed one woman early Thursday morning.

The fire was reported in an upstairs unit of a two-story apartment complex around 5:43 a.m. on the 2100 block of Marguerite Parkway, according to the Orange County Fire Authority.

Upon arriving, firefighters found a woman dead at the scene. Her identity was not released.

The fire was confined to a single unit and no other injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
