Woman Wearing Swastika Band In Laguna Woods Condemned By Mayor
The 51-year-old Laguna Woods woman is currently facing possible hate crime charges, the OC Register reported.
LAGUNA WOODS, CA — Laguna Woods Mayor Carol Moore condemned an unidentified woman who was seen wearing a swastika band around her arm in Laguna Woods earlier this month, the OC Register reported Saturday.
The 51-year-old woman, who was not identified by authorities, is facing possible hate crime and other charges for the incident that took place March 7, authorities told the OC Register.
"The City of Laguna Woods stands firmly against antisemitism, bigotry, and hate, in all its forms, fully and without exception," Moore's statement read. "The conduct alleged in the disturbance is abhorrent, inexcusable, and antithetical to the character and values of our community."
