MISSION VIEJO, CA — All Mission Viejo needs is you. On September 8, the Core Area Vision Plan will be discussed and the giant heart shaped puzzle will be on display for all to see at the Civic Center.
The city is in the process of working with the community on a Vision Plan for Mission Viejo’s core area. This area includes the properties around the intersection of La Paz Road and Marguerite Parkway, and along Marguerite Parkway to the south, including the intersection of Marguerite and Oso Parkways. The current visioning process will explore how the heart of Mission Viejo can enhance and enrich the community now and for years to come.

It gave residents the chance to express their vision for the City’s core area and see those ideas side-by-side with visions from other families. The finished product will be on display during the September 8 workshop where folks will have the chance to work on design concepts and plot ideas for enhancing, changing or maintaining the core area.
Working together with the community is important in answering key questions including which activities and programs are needed and how the vision can celebrate Mission Viejo’s rich heritage while keeping pace with changing conditions and trends. Public input is key to this process.
