American Cancer Society RELAY FOR LIFE, MONROVIA,

Beginning

10 a.m. Saturday, June 22 through to 10 a.m. Sunday, June 23,
RFL Teams will

complete a 24-hour marathon event to celebrate cancer survivors, remember loved

ones lost to the disease and share with the community many services available for people with cancer and the progress accomplished in the fight against

cancer. Please join us in raising awareness of the importance of cancer

prevention, early detection, and free help for all cancer patients.  

Saturday, June 22, 10:00 a.m. Opening Ceremony, Survivor and Care

Giver Lap, Parade of Teams Lap, followed by a full day of lively happenings

including the Hula Hoop Contest, Watermelon Eating Contest, the ever popular Frozen

Wet T-shirt Contest, Relay Olympics, Tug of War, Miss Relay (Carnival Theme

Attire) Contest, Luminaria Evening Ceremony, and quiet games.

Sunday, June 23, 9:15 a.m. – 10:00 a.m., Closing Ceremony and Final Lap.
