The Craftsman-style project, which includes a subterranean garage, is now moving through Glendale’s approval process and would take about 18 months to build once greenlit.
• Sick of traffic, high gas prices? Local governments and LA Metro promoting e-bikes with $2,000 vouchers (sgvtribune.com) — Monrovia residents can benefit from a new $2,000 e‑bike voucher program for San Gabriel Valley, with a local E Bike Cyclery shop in town ready to redeem them. The initiative targets income-qualified residents, aims to cut traffic and pollution, and has already helped dozens replace short car trips with cargo e‑bikes for errands, school runs, and recreation.
• Sports Roundup: Tigers Boys' Tennis Eyes CIF Playoffs (outlooknewspapers.com) — Monrovia High’s Wildcats baseball and tennis teams figure prominently in South Pasadena’s latest Rio Hondo League matchups, including a tight 4-3 baseball win over the Tigers.
