MONROVIA, CA — The Monrovia Public Library will host a special edition of its monthly Veterans Meetup on Wednesday, Oct. 28, offering veterans and service members an opportunity to connect over breakfast at a local bakery, the city announced on Friday.
The event, held in partnership with the Veterans Peer Access Network, is scheduled for 9 a.m. at Merengue Bakery, the city said.
The meetup is designed to give veterans and active-duty service members a welcoming place to build relationships, share experiences and connect with others who have served in the military.
The city said the event reflects its commitment to strengthening community connections and supporting veterans and service members.
The Veterans Peer Access Network, known as VPAN, will sponsor breakfast sandwiches for attendees, while Merengue Bakery will provide coffee, continuing its support of the monthly gatherings.
