MONROVIA, CA — City officials and community members gathered Wednesday, Nov. 4, for a ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the opening of a new entrance to the Metro A Line at Station Square.
The ceremony took place at 9 a.m. at 225 W. Duarte Road, marking the completion of a new pedestrian connection that provides another access point to the light-rail system, the city said.
The entrance is part of the Trestle development and is designed to offer the public a more convenient way to reach the Metro A Line.
The new connection adds another pedestrian access point to the transit station, improving connectivity between the surrounding development and public transportation.
