Among the many fun events for the Monrovia Day Celebration (Saturday May 18, 2013 in Library Park) the Pet Food Bank of the Foothill Unity Center will be having a booth in order to support area families in need with pets by collecting pet food, and we’ll be taking contributions of food or money as well.
Come by the Pet Food Bank booth to GRAB A DOGGIE BAG -- we’ll let you grab one for a very small price -- and inside you’ll get a great collection of pet related treats from our Premier Booth Sponsor, Unleashed by Petco, as well as valuable merchandise, coupons, gift certificates and who knows what!

Inside your DOGGIE BAG you may find lots of little things like a dog toy or treat, maybe even something for a cat, or something very valuable, like a coupon for a free veterinary exam, pet sitting, or dog day care, or valuable pet supplies; or you may find a special discount offer from one of many pet retailers in town; or a gift card from one of Monrovia’s great local merchants who want to help support the Pet Food Bank.
You can help support the Pet Food Bank in a variety of ways: we’ll be collecting donations of pet food at our booth - you can bring canned or packaged food or even pet toys to deposit in our collection tub. We’ll make sure it is packaged up for distribution to our neighbors in need. Or you can GRAB A DOGGIE BAG for a modest price, or you can make a direct contribution by feeding the kitty - our little donation jar.
You’ll feel good knowing that you are helping out -- and getting some great surprise stuff for your pet. Last year, the Pet Food Bank supported over 700 pets in our area helping to keep families together with their pets and not having to surrender them to a shelter; and it is supported strictly by donations and volunteer support. The pets in our neighborhoods appreciate your support.
