Authorities Pull Man From Duarte Roof

Drugs suspected in incident. Man was eventually treated by doctors and sedated, not arrested.

A man created quite a disturbance in Duarte Friday night, accused of being under the influence of drugs after people discovered him screaming on a roof.

Deupties with the Temple Sheriff's Station eventually wrestled the man down who was helpd to the ground by fire fighters, according to the San Gabriel Valley Tribune.

The incident started just after 10 p.m. in the 2000 block of Broach Avenue when a caller reported a man was on a roof shouting and creating a disturbance.

Samoano said the man was making incoherent statements, talking to people who weren't there and wouldn't come down.

The man reportedly wouldn't comply with deputies' orders to turn around and put his hands behind this back.

The 25-year-old was eventually lowered to the ground in a basket and transported to Arcadia Methodist Hospital.
