Body Found Near San Gabriel River ID'd
Alex Castillo, 23, was a transient, the coroner's office said. An autopsy was pending to determine his cause of death.
SOUTH EL MONTE, CA — A young man whose body was found near the San Gabriel River in South El Monte was identified Thursday.
The body was discovered near Peck Road and Durfee Avenue just after 1 p.m. Sunday, said coroner's Investigator Jerry McKibben.
Alex Castillo, 23, was a transient, said coroner's Assistant Chief Ed Winter. An autopsy was pending to determine his cause of death.
