Saturday, March 9 Experience a greener tomorrow at The Arboretum

 Young people, their families and those who educate them will discover the latest hands-on activities, ready-to-use lesson ideas, and useful resources that are easily incorporated into everyday life from leading organizations that promote environmental education and awareness. Lively entertainment with music, crafts, hands-on activities, and storytelling will make this a fun-filled day for all. Visit wild animals, pick-up a free pine seedling, participate in environmental challenges, and take part in a BioBlitz to discover more about the organisms here at the Arboretum. Join us for free workshops designed to teach families and children ways they can make the world a little greener!

Saturday, March 9 - 'Nowruz' sponsored by Our Parenting Place @ PazNaz Church

Join Our Parenting Place for our 2nd Annual Persian New Year Celebration and Cultural Festival which coincides with the 1st day of Spring. On this day, we are celebrating the coming of Spring by bringing to you ethnic foods, merchandise you can buy for Persian new year and gift giving options such as jewelry, clothing, home decor, sweets, toys, etc.

Monday, March 11 - Story Studio! Free Story Time + Kids Art Project @ MakeSpace ARTS

The creative minds at MakeSpaceARTS will take you and the kids on a special journey into children’s literature. Each story time is paired with a unique art project inspired by a book. This hour is reading designed to improve language and listening skills.
