Blog: MHS Renaissance Brings Sign on the Line Back in 2013
Monrovia High School celevrates student success.
The Renaissance program at Monrovia High School kicked off the Spring officially today with their first "Sign on the Line" celebration of this school year. The Sign on the Line program celebrates individual seniors by holding a signing ceremony during lunch in the main quad of campus. Seniors and their families are invited to participate and the Renaissance program provides balloons and signage from the universities the students will be attending. "It is an opportunity for our entire student body to see and celebrate the success of their fellow Wildcats." said Paul Dols, the Renaissance Coordiantor at MHS. These events will be taking place twice a week for the remainder of the school year. Signing today were Michael Damasco to UCLA, Jesse Esaian to UC Santa Cruz, Melissa Plasencia and Claudia Rizo to Cal State Los Angeles and Elysse Lamarre to Nova Southeastern University in Florida. Congratulations to these awesome students!
