Monrovia will celebrate the 127^th anniversary of its founding with a gala birthday bash on Saturday, May 18^th.  A variety of groups supporting Monrovia’s birthday celebration are hosting fun-filled events that will take place in the area of Library Park from 7 am to 3 pm.

The fun starts early on Saturday at 7 am with the Fountain to the Falls 7-mile walk/run hosted by the City of Monrovia  http://cityofmonrovia.org/community-services/c-s-happenings.  Be sure to stop by the Health & Wellness Expo hosted by the Santa Anita Family YMCA to learn about the benefits of and tips for living a healthy lifestyle.

If a relaxing pancake breakfast is more your speed, then you’ll enjoy Pancakes & Popstars sponsored by Centre Stage where from 7-11 am you can enjoy your breakfast with live entertainment by Centre Stage students.  http://www.centrestageinc.com/

After finishing breakfast or returning from the run, there are lots of activities in Library Park until 3 pm for the entire family.
