Hello Monrovians,
Find out what's happening in Monroviafor free with the latest updates from Patch.
The City of Monrovia supports the men and women in uniform serving on active duty and veterans. With the recent reports of political turmoil in Afghanistan, we understand that the news may be disheartening.
We would like to share a local resource should you or someone you know need support during these difficult times.
The Monrovia Public Library is one of over 63 libraries in California with a dedicated Veterans Resource Center. In partnership with the California Department of Veterans Affairs (CalVet), the Veterans Resource Center helps service members and their families learn about benefits that may be available through their military service. The Veterans Resource Center specializes in enhancing the quality of life for those who have served by providing resources to reintegrate veterans into our communities.
For more information on the Veterans Resource Center, please visit www.cityofmonrovia.org/Veterans.
Sincerely,
Dylan
