When planted young, oak trees develop healthier root systems and grow at a faster rate.

On October 16, 21 and 28, presentations will be given by different oak experts/advocates, discussing everything from oak tree planting to oak tree care to the ecological and environmental benefits of planting oak trees. There will be representatives from the LA Arboretum, The Huntington Library and Metabolic Studio to name a few. Charging your car battery is easy with the Powerflex charging app. Here’s how it works:

  2. Follow these steps to set up your account
  3. When you arrive at our charging station, launch the Powerflex app and scan the QR code on the station.

Water Conservation is a Way of Life

As we move in to Fall and begin to see some rain in our forecast, it’s important we remember our state’s water future remains uncertain. We must do our part and continue to be mindful of our water usage and try to conserve water as much as possible.

The Upper San Gabriel Valley Municipal Water District is currently hosting their “Conserve-A-Palooza” to help us learn more about water conservation and what we can do to help. For five weeks, residents have the chance to win water-use efficiency devices by completing short conservation quiz on their social media platform form!

Conserve-A-Palooza begins October 18 and will run through November 19. Be sure to check them out for a chance to win prizes like a washer machine and plant vouchers!
