Composite Sketch Released of Suspect Who Grabbed Girl at Local School

Detectives at the sheriff's Temple Station released a composite drawing on Wednesday of a suspect who grabbed an 11-year-old girl at Bitely School in Rosemead.

The suspect entered the school grounds on Jan. 30 at 3:30 p.m. and approached the girl from behind and grabbed her collar, said Sgt. S. Morsi of the sheriff's Temple Station. The girl turned and saw it was a stranger. She broke free of his grasp and ran. It is not known in what direction the suspect ran.

He was described as in his 40s, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 160 pounds, and had long stringy black hair, a thin mustache, scratches on his left cheek, and was wearing a white tank top with dirty blue jeans and was barefoot, Morsi said.
