Coroner's Office IDs Man Found Stabbed to Death as Area Man

A man found stabbed to death in an Industry parking lot was identified by the coroner's office today as an El Monte man.

The body of 28-year-old Jose Chacon was found about 2:45 a.m. Wednesday by deputies sent to the 15900 block of Old Valley Boulevard, according to the sheriff's department.

Chacon suffered multiple stab wounds to his upper body, sheriff's officials said.
