Local document destruction company J.P. Paper Shredders will offer free paper shredding services for the month of August to people who drop off e-waste on Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Park &amp; Ride lot at Myrtle and Pomona Avenues. Old computers, monitors, printers, fax machines, toner and ink cartridges, and other e-waste will be accepted at the event, and appointments to pick up heavier items can be made by calling 1-877-866-0128. Items that will not be accepted include: household batteries, refrigerators, washers, dryers, paints, solvents and cleaners, used oil, light bulbs and hazardous waste.
