Dump E-Waste Properly This Weekend

The city and Chamber of Commerce have teamed up to collect E-waste this Saturday and Sunday.

Monrovia residents can gather their old computers, monitors, and other e-waste and unload it this weekend at an event sponsored by the city and the Chamber of Commerce.

Local document destruction company J.P. Paper Shredders will offer free paper shredding services for the month of August to people who drop off e-waste on Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Park & Ride lot at Myrtle and Pomona Avenues.

Old computers, monitors, printers, fax machines, toner and ink cartridges, and other e-waste will be accepted at the event, and appointments to pick up heavier items can be made by calling 1-877-866-0128.
