Monrovia Cinco De Mayo Cultural Arts & Music Festival,Sunday April 29th promises to be the San Gabriel Valley's most culturally significant event of the year. Musically representing the unique diversity within the Latino community itself by featuring Ranchera singing great Hector Dominguez, critically acclaimed roots musicians, The Delgado Brothers and hybrid musical innovators La Santa Cecilia. The spectacular pagentry of the opening ceremonies are not to be missed as a traditional Oaxacan Calenda with over 70 costumed dancers and musicians parade down Myrtle at noon. The main stage will also showcase sublime guitar impressario Juan Carlos Quintero, and Ranchera favorites Portro Norteno & Dominantes. The kids zone directed by Circus Clownz.com promises an equally extravagant showcase with an animal show, bubble performance, facepainting, dancing, cheerleading, music & plenty of fun for all ages.
