HOST THE LARGEST FEEDER RIDE TO CICLAVIA
The EASTSIDE BIKE CLUB (ESBC) is once again hosting the County's LARGEST FEEDER RIDE into CicLAvia and STANS BIKE SHOP is bringing Cycling Celebrity, "NELSON (NELLY) VAILS", the 1984 OLYMPIC SILVER MEDALIST to join community members on a Bike Ride from El Sereno to Venice Beach!
One of our most anticipated Bike Rides of the year is happening this Sunday, April 21st, 2013 "RIDE WITH NELLY" Join our party on wheels as we kickoff CicLAvia one hour early. Cyclist of all ages and abilities are invited to experience Los Angeles on two wheels. This is a FAMILY FRIENDLY BIKE RIDE. Meet up at 8:30am at the new El Sereno Parklett, 4910 Huntington Drive, El Sereno, CA 90032 and we Ride Out at 9am.
CicLAvia has become one of LA's Premier events where everyone can participate, it is a healthy event where participants explore Los Angeles from the seat of their bikes. The EASTSIDE BIKE CLUB is dedicating this ride as a Celebration of life. Carlos Morales, Founder of the EASTSIDE Bike Club and Owner of Stans Bike Shop in Monrovia CA, states, "We will not be intimidated by terrorist who want to manipulate us and scare us, having us locked up in our homes behind closed doors. The best way to fight it is taking a bike ride in the streets, with over 160,000 of our friends, it creates a vibrant experience like no other. Our message is clear - Who's Streets, OUR STREETS!"
