Free Events In Monrovia To Celebrate Fall

The City of Monrovia has free, family-friendly events to celebrate the fall season.

With the leaves turning crisps and the weather cooling down, community members have a plethora of events and activities to look forward to. All are encouraged to visit www.cityofmonrovia.org to view the calendar of all events taking place this season.

Old Town Fall Festival

On Oct. 12, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., the City of Monrovia, Monrovia Old Town Advisory Board and Old Town Merchants will present the Old Town Fall Festival. There will be music in Old Town, fall crafts at the Monrovia Public Library, face painting, merchant activities, a pet meet and greet with the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society and hay wagon rides for $2 per person. For furry friends, there will be a Community Dog Costume Parade through Old Town at 2 p.m.

Trick-or-Treat & Halloween Bash

On Oct. 31, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., the City of Monrovia and the Monrovia Old Town Merchants will host the Annual Trick or Treat and Halloween Bash. The afternoon will be filled with ghoulish fun for the entire family, including trick-or-treating in Old Town and activities at Library Park! At 3 p.m., attendees can begin to register for the free Costume Contest. Additionally, furry friends are invited to register for the Dog Costume Contest. This is a rain or shine event! In the event of rain, the costume contest will be held in the Community Center.
