Community Corner

Help support me in my fight against Pediatric AIDS through UCLA's 2014 Dance Marathon!

Hello! My name is Nicole Wells and I graduated from Monrovia High School in 2012. I am currently a sophomore at UCLA, and this year, I have pledged to dance for 26 hours straight, on April 5-6, 2014, in the largest student-run philanthropic event on the West Coast: Dance Marathon at UCLA. This is my way to physically take a stand against pediatric HIV/AIDS, while raising money for a great cause. I am writing as part of the Monrovia community in hopes of spreading awareness. I am reaching out not only stop this epidemic but also the stigma that surrounds it.

As I go forward in my college career, I feel it is so important to involve everyone who has helped me and supported me on the way: my friends, my family, and my community members. All the funds that I raise go directly towards pediatric HIV/AIDS related organizations.

I hope that you can donate your spare change or a few dollars to help support our cause. Any amount helps! If you have any questions, feel free to ask or check out my website, http://support.pedaids.org/site/TR/Events/General?px=1495591&pg=personal&fr_id=1314.

Thank you so much!
