How To See If Sexual Predators Live In Your Monrovia Neighborhood

MONROVIA, CA – Ever wonder how safe your neighborhood in Monrovia is? As kids anticipate Halloween, costumes, and candy, it's important to make sure they're safe and secure on the night of spooky thrills. Checking to see how safe your trick-or-treating neighborhoods are is a great way to start.

The California Department of Justice has a website called Megan's Law, which provides information on registered sex offenders pursuant to California Penal Code § 290.46, so that members of the public can better protect themselves and their families.

According to the website, there are 32 registered sex offenders in Monrovia, 12 of which don't have a last listed address. Out of those 12 offenders, seven are listed as transients. Six out of the total 32 offenders are currently in violation, and crimes range from rape of a victim incapable of giving consent, to lewd or lascivious acts with a child under 14-years-old, and annoying or molesting a child under 18-years-old.
