London Gastropub
This friendly neighborhood pub, known for it's fish and chips and beer, is popular with the locals.

Overview: Locals love to walk or bike to this small, homey pub in Old Town Monrovia for drinks and American food with some British and Latin influences. On Wednesday, March 16, London Gastropub will donate 10% of your bill to Monrovia’s Relay For Life.
Décor: Simple décor, but friendly atmosphere. The long bar surrounded by high top tables is central to the restaurant. Dark brown tables and booths next to walls in cream and yellow colors are accented by soft to medium lighting. Flat screen televisions are available in both the bar and dining area.
Drinks: London Gastropub’s beers include local favorites such as Craftsman and Stone Brewery, Belgian beers and Microbrews. Draft beers from $6-$8; bottled beer and cider range from $5-$25. Wines from California, Australia, and Argentina range from $7-$12/glass and $26-$54/bottle. Cocktails include specialty martinis, margaritas, and a premium selection of Scotch. Happy Hours are also popular, with specials in the $3-$5 range for drinks, and most starters and sides at half price.

Appetizers: Starters include Scotch Eggs served with English mustard ($9), Fried Green Sicilian Olives ($7), and Sofrito Spiced Buffalo Wings ($9). Flatbreads fresh rolled to order include the Margherita with vine ripened tomatoes Salsiccia with sausage, san marzano sauce, mushrooms, basil, and mozzarella ($13), Carne Asada ($14), and BBQ Chicken or Sofrito Chicken ($13).
Entrees: Along with the ever popular Fish and Chips ($13), featured entrees include Carne Asada Tacos with cilantro, onions, and hot sauce ($12), Steak and Frites with chimichurri sauce ($18), and Mahi-Mahi Tacos with cabbage, pico de gallo, and house lime sauce ($12). Sandwiches include The Burger with havarti, charred onion, and house thousand island on a brioche bun ($12), the Beef Dip with swiss and horseradish on a French roll ($11), the Grilled Reuben with corned beef, aged swiss, sauerkraut, mustard, and thousand island on Jewish rye ($11), and Pulled Pork Sliders ($9).

Sides: Beer-battered Onion Rings with smoked paprika (7$), Sweet Potato Fries ($6), House Fries with herbs and sea salt ($6), Sauteed Fresh Asparagus with lemon, olive oil, and sea salt (7$).
Salads: Salads include Flat-Iron Steak Salad with balsamic vinegar, blue cheese, capers, and onions ($16), Beet and Goat Cheese Salad with Chicken comes with walnuts and cranberries ($13), and a Wedge with Mahi-Mahi comes with blue cheese, fresh tomato, and bacon ($12).
Desserts: Hot Fudge Sundae served in a beer goblet with spicy pecans and whipped cream ($7); other specials may include chocolate cake, cheesecake, or a raspberry compote.
Service: Hostess seating Thursday-Saturday evenings; otherwise self-seating, or a bartender or server will be happy to seat you.
