The Gooden School

The Gooden School is an independent Episcopal school serving students in transitional kindergarten through eighth grade in Sierra Madre, California. Founded in 1975, Gooden has spent more than five decades nurturing curious minds, strong character, and a lifelong love of learning within a close-knit and supportive community. At Gooden, academic excellence is paired with a deep commitment to personal growth. The sixth annual Kevin Congo Scholarship Golf Tournament will be held in memory of the LAPD officer on Friday in Pasadena. Proceeds benefit students at Monrovia High School, Congo's alma mater. Check-in is at 10 a.m.; shotgun start at noon. The tournament will be held at Brookside Golf Club, 1133 N. Rosemont Ave., Pasadena. For more information, call (818) 489-0527.
