The Gooden School

The Gooden School is an independent Episcopal school serving students in transitional kindergarten through eighth grade in Sierra Madre, California. Founded in 1975, Gooden has spent more than five decades nurturing curious minds, strong character, and a lifelong love of learning within a close-knit and supportive community. At Gooden, academic excellence is paired with a deep commitment to personal growth. Small class sizes, dedicated faculty, and an engaging curriculum allow students to be known, challenged, and supported as individuals. From the earliest years through middle school, students develop critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication skills that prepare them for success in high school and beyond. Rooted in the school’s Episcopal identity, Gooden welcomes families of all faiths, backgrounds, and perspectives. Myrtle Ave.; Monrovia, CA  91016The meeting agenda covers the following major topics: Treasurer's Report including a recap of 2013, proposed By-laws changes, selection of 2014/2015 Board, and approval of proposed 2014 Budgets.All current MAFA members are invited to attend.
