www.mohpg.org

On Tuesday evening, November 4, 2014, at 7:30 p.m., the Monrovia City Council will meet will take place at the Monrovia City Hall on Ivy.
On the agenda for the meeting are applications for the demolition of six - you read correctly, SIX - pre-1940s homes in Monrovia. Time for public input is incorporated into the agenda.
If you would like the opportunity to make your feelings known, this is the time and place in which to do that.
The homes pictured on the website below are up for planning & may soon be gone!

The MOHPG Board of Directors encourages members to attend and support this action. This can provide time for an updated historic resource survey to be enacted so we may rein in uncontrolled demoltions & construction of inappropriately designed homes for our historic neighborhoods.
There was a tremendous turnout last Wednesday at the Historic Preservation Committee meeting with standing room only. This momentum needs to be sustained. Please come show your support for Monrovia’s historic communicty and save the remaining houses which have not been demolished in place for McMansions.
