Although the celebration may look a little different this year, I hope that the spirit of Thanksgiving remains prevalent in your home. Traditionally, holidays are times when family, friends and the community have come together, but this season, it is highly recommended to avoid any gatherings and find creative ways to celebrate in the safety of your own home.

When celebrating, please continue to follow all recommended guidelines provided by health officials. The health and well-being of many people in our community, especially the vulnerable population, depends on the actions that we take now.

Monrovia Parks, Wilderness and Recreation Foundation, Inc.

Because of the great need and recent events, the Monrovia Parks, Wilderness, and Recreation Foundation (formerly Monrovia Wilderness Preserve Foundation, Inc.), a 501(c3) independent foundation established in 2000, is revising and expanding its mission. The new mission will support recreation and community programs, parks, facilities, and open spaces in Monrovia.
