Monrovia Gears Up For 10th Annual MAP Neighborhood Conference
The all-day event includes free lunch and is open to the community. This year's theme is "Not Without You."
MONROVIA, CA – The City of Monrovia will host the 10th annual Monrovia Area Partnership (MAP) Neighborhood Conference at the Second Baptist Church Education Center on April 6. The Monrovia Area Partnership is a program designed to build community through a partnership of residents, agencies and city departments, City officials said.
Every year, the City hosts a free conference for the community on topics that are important to anyone invested in Monrovia and keeping it strong and vibrant, according to the City of Monrovia press release. The free, all-day event is open to the community – this year's theme is "Not Without You."
"This theme was chosen simply because accomplishments achieved from MAP programs & events stem from the entire community." City officials said. "This event wouldn't be possible without all that residents and friends of Monrovia bring to it, and we want to make sure that everyone knows that MAP is about educating the community, to do that, we need all of you."
