Monrovia PD Recently Forwarded Alleged Gang-Related Crimes to DA

The two alleged crimes forwarded took place on July 31 and Aug. 9.

The Monrovia Police Department has presented two cases linked to the same gang to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office. 

The two crimes forwarded took place on July 31 and Aug. 9, according to the police department’s website.

In the first case, two gang members allegedly brandished a firearm.  In the second case, a victim was allegedly robbed and assaulted by three gang members.

“These cases were presented together to the District Attorney’s office,” authorities wrote on the site.  “Felony complaints were filed for robbery, assault with a deadly weapon, exhibiting a firearm, and violations of criminal street gang injunction.”
