Monrovia Shooting Leaves One Dead, One Child In Critical Condition: Police
Breaking: The shooting happened late Saturday night on West Cypress Avenue.

MONROVIA, CA — A shooting in Monrovia has left one man dead and a male juvenile hospitalized in critical condition, sheriff's investigators said Sunday. It occurred at 11:36 p.m. Saturday on the 100 block of West Cypress Avenue, according to Monrovia police.
Officers responding to a shots fired call found both victims with gunshot wounds to the torso. The man was pronounced dead at the scene and the juvenile was transported to a hospital. The circumstances remain under investigation by Monrovia police and Los Angeles County Sheriff's Deputies.
