Monrovia Unified Officials Convene For Special Meeting Friday
Monrovia Unified officials will hold a special board retreat at the DoubleTree Hotel rather than the district offices.
MONROVIA, CA — The Monrovia Unified School District has scheduled a special retreat for the Board of Education this Friday at the DoubleTree Hotel.
The retreat will go over the Board of Education’s “roles and responsibilities, protocols and goal setting,” according to the agenda. Leadership Associates, a leadership development firm, will help facilitate the retreat.
Members of the public are allowed to attend the retreat and will be allowed to provide public comment.

The retreat is scheduled to start at 8:30 a.m. in the hotel’s Elan Conference Room. The DoubleTree Hotel is located at 924 W. Huntington Drive.
The next regular Board of Education meeting is scheduled for Sept. 22.
