Monrovia’s 127th Birthday ended in Paw-style! Highlights of the Canine Caviar “Red Carpet Soiree” with host, John Littlefield of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition Monrovia, CA (May 23, 2013) – Canine Caviar Pet Foods co-hosted a “Red Carpet Soiree” with John Littlefield, Actor and avid pet advocate as well as Star Carpenter in ABC’s hit reality series, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, this past weekend closing out Monrovia’s 127th Birthday festivities at the Highlander Pet Center. Not only did the Celebration spotlight on taking the Bark out of Pet Cancer, but over 160lbs of pet food was donated to the Foothill Unity Center’s Pet Food Drive. “Canine Caviar centers on creating the most healthiest pet food for our beloved 4-legged family members,” says Gary Ward, co-owner of Canine Caviar. “But we also strive to be a company that’s part of a community family.” Event brought together a dozen other celebrities and much of Monrovia’s pet community. There were many breeds of dogs, from Chihuahuas to Great Danes, dressed up in their best duds who took a stroll on the Red Carpet. There was plenty of food provided by Toro's Sushi out of Pasadena, education material was handed out by Canine Caviar Cancer Research Foundation and Pet C.A.R.E. Training provided education on how to care for pets in emergency situations. The event included LIVE Art by internationally known, John Barge III, who impressed the crowd with a completed portrait of Chief, The Great Dane with his famous "Mohawk". Quantum Leap Entertainment (QLE-PR) and CCCRF has stated that they will team up for a summer of Red Carpet events to SPEAK up and educate pet parents on what they can do to help reduce the risk of the diagnosis of Cancer or other serious health risks.
