Monrovia's Nick Bueno Earns All-CIF Nod

The CIF-Southern Section released its All-CIF baseball squads on Monday, and Monrovia shortstop Nick Bueno was the lone Wildcat to earn a spot on the Division 4 roster.

Bueno hit .411 with two triples and four doubles for a Wildcats squad that suffered through an up and down year en route to a second-place finish in the Rio Hondo League. The Wildcats ended the year with a 11-14-1 record and lost to El Segundo in the first round of the CIF-SS Division 4 playoffs.
