New Coyote Trail in Monrovia HWP

Thanks to the intrepid Monrovia Canyon Park (MCP) Trail Crew, led by Trailboss Ed Cunningham, We have a new ”Coyote Trail” in the HWP.

This new trail is steep, so hikers should be prepared but the crew built it with many switchbacks which helps the return hike up the trail.

From the Lower Clamshell Truck Trail (CSTT) trailhead at 873 Ridgeside Drive, it takes 40-45 minutes to hike up the CSTT to the Coyote Trailhead (pictured).
