Operators of Tour Bus in 210 Freeway Crash Flagged for Safety Violations

Da Zhen reportedly had three violations for unsafe driving during inspections this year.

The tour company whose bus overturned on the 210 freeway in Irwindale Thursday had been flagged previously by the federal government for a poor performance record.

Da Zhen is on "alert status," which could mean the Monterey Park-based company might be subject to more safety inspections, reported NBC4 Los Angeles.

During Thursday's crash, the tour bus driver struck a car while changing lanes and then veered across the freeway before overturning and landing on its side, according to the California Highway Patrol.
