Photos: 3 Monrovians Win State Biking Titles

Three mountain bikers from Monrovia claimed state titles in their cross country categories at the U.S. Cup California State Mountain Biking Championships this week.

Sean Hickey took home the gold in the 40-45 age group, placed first in the 11-12 age group, and Cody Phillips finished at the top of the 17-18 age group at the championships, which were held on Oct. 2 in Vail Lake.

Two other Monrovians placed in their age groups as well. Terry Crouse took home second place in the 40-44 category and Kristian Kaekul brought home the bronze in the 13-14 category.
