Sip And Shop At Monrovia's Wine Walk Event

MONROVIA, CA – Imagine strolling through the streets of Old Town Monrovia, sipping wine and checking out local businesses you've never been to before — well now you can! Tickets are now on sale for Old Town Monrovia's first Wine Walk. The Wine Walk will be from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. on Saturday, August 26. Over twenty businesses in Old Town have signed up so far to serve samples of wine while residents shop around their stores. The Wine Walk is intended to encourage customers to visit all of the businesses that Old Town has to offer, according to the City of Monrovia. There will be acoustic entertainment on each block of Old Town while participants sample wine and explore the businesses.

Tickets are $40 pre-sale, and $45 at the door. Tickets may be purchased at local non-profits, the community center or online, however, if purchased at a non-profit, the non-profit will keep all of the proceeds. This event will benefit: Centre Stage, Monrovia Duarte Black Alumni Association, Monrovia Youth Baseball League, Monrovia Reads, and Monrovia Latino Heritage Society.
