Thank You From Monrovia Unified School District
We launched our Distance Learning Platform the Monday after school was dismissed.

Dear Monrovia Unified Community,As we continue to celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week, I wanted to acknowledge our parents for their dedication to their children’s education while we work through distance learning and finish the 2019-20 school year. When the news about student dismissal came to light, there was no time to prepare for the challenges ahead. We launched our Distance Learning Platform the Monday after school was dismissed.
Your participation in your children’s education is vital throughout their entire K-12 experience, but it is even more important now that our students are at home.We know that the process has not been easy, but your patience and support has not gone unnoticed. Our students are excelling because of your daily motivation and commitment to their education. So, during Teacher Appreciation Week, it is only fitting that we also celebrate you. Thank you for working every day with your children to ensure their assignments are completed and that they are excited about school, and thank you for working with us. Together, we make a powerful team.Show us what distance learning looks like in your household by sharing photos and videos on social media using #MUSDProud and #AllInThisTogether. As always, we will continue to provide you updated information as we receive it and more can be found on our website. Pre-recorded messages are regularly updated at (626) 471-2084.I encourage you to tune in to Conversations with Ralph Walker, which now airs at 3 p.m. every Friday on YouTube, featuring Board President Rob Hammond and Mayor Tom Adams. The latest local updates on COVID-19 are discussed during the show. Please submit questions to kgemtv@gmail.com or by calling (626) 357-4974.
