Which Monrovia Streets Need Repair in 2012?
The city will consider awarding a $523,000 contract for street repair projects in the coming year. Here's a list of the streets in need of resurfacing.

The City Council will decide Tuesday whether to award a $523,000 contract to a construction company for repair work needed along several Monrovia streets to be performed over the next year.
"The rehabilitation will consist of a combination of removal and replacement of deteriorated asphaltic concrete pavement in selected areas of the streets to be resurfaced, crack sealing, cape sealing, and application of slurry seal or emulsion-aggregate slurry, which is evenly applied on pavement surfaces," an agenda report prepared by Ron Bow, the city's public works director, states.
The lowest bidder for the job is Copp Contracting Inc., of Buena Park, according to the agenda report.
