Beat the heat in August and enjoy theater for the whole famiy! Monrovia's own Centre Stage Inc will present two musicals that will leave you in stiches! First up we have "You're A Good Man Chalrie Brown", based on the heartwarming Peanuts cartoon strip. Come see the youth of our community bring these iconic characters to life! AUG 1-3, 2013 at 7pm & AUG 3 at 2pm at Pasadena Nazarene (3700 East Sierra Madre Blvd., Pasadena)

And for the teens and adults out there you won't want to miss the Tony award winning "25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee". 

The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee is a hilarious tale of overachievers vying for the spelling championship of a lifetime. Six adolescent outsiders in the throes of puberty learn that winning isn’t everything and that losing doesn’t necessarily make you a loser. With a score and book by a Tony Award- winning creative team, this hilarious and touching musical took Broadway by storm! So get out your dictionaries and study for the bee, because you may be asked to join in! This is NOT your typical musical theater! Come see how saturday night live meets the Broadway stage! This group of young adults are sure to leave you speechless! Performances are  AUG 8-10, 2013 at 7pm & AUG 10 at 2pm. Performances are also held at Pasadena Nazarene (3700 East Sierra Madre Blvd., Pasadena)
