“Improving Communications in All Relationships” Seminar Series

 An “Improving Communications in All Relationships” Seminar Series will be hosted for all adults in the greater Crescenta Valley and Glendale communities in May and June by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, La Crescenta Stake, at 4550 Raymond Avenue in La Crescenta.  There will be four seminars, with a different topic being discussed each evening.


This Relationships Seminar Series will be presented by Dr. John Lund, author of the book “How to Hug a Porcupine: Dealing with Toxic and Difficult to Love Personalities.”

Dr. Lund has taught as an adjunct professor at universities in four different states, and as a consultant to numerous businesses on how to improve communications.  He has lectured in 27 foreign countries on interpersonal communications. 


He is licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist and has been appointed by courts in two states to be a “Family Court Commissioner” and an “Alternative Dispute Resolution Provider” for both businesses and domestic relationships.  He holds three certifications as an Arbitrator, a Mediator, and a Negotiator.
